Edinburgh - June 2015
Length of trip: 3 nights.
How I got there: By car.
Where I stayed: Edinburgh Regency Hotel
Top sights: Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, National War Museum, Princes Street (for shopping obvs), National Monument of Scotland.
Highlight of the trip: Calton Hill/the scenery on the drive up there
Summary:
Scotland still remains my favourite place! Out of everywhere around the world that i have been before and since I went to Edinburgh, Scotland still is #1 to me. I love the people, the scenery and pretty much everything about it (even the weather doesn't bother me. haha i actually quite like the rain!).

My best recommendation if you are considering Scotland for your next trip away, (if you can), make sure that you drive up there. Even if you live hundreds of miles away as i do. The scenery is purely breathtaking. You will drive on tiny country roads that wind through stunning mountains. You would certainly miss out on this if you chose to fly.
Edinburgh not only is full of culture but also is packed full of great shops, bars and restaurants. Check out Princes Street in you're a shopaholic or slip into one of the many bars in you like a margarita. There's something for everyone! I also spent one day at a spa at the Balmoral Hotel and after a facial and a full body massage and lunch, I definitely felt relaxed and rejuvenated! (Well
needed after all those margaritas.. haha).
All in all, Edinburgh and Scotland in general, is a fantastic place and I highly recommend you visit asap! Always remember, You Life Is Your Own Adventure
